Keeping Warm, Keep It Up(Preview)

I was listening to a bunch of Jersey Club music as well as "Blue Knife"(Kitty N's Theme) from Bust-A-Groove. But the sounds combined with the Up-Beat feel of the pattern made me think of Sonic the Hedgehog blazing through a bright, snowy field and steamrolling a Special Zone. I was going to put more Sonic sound effects in the beat but I only found one of them to be okay to use only once for a Rise Effect. The "Blue Knife" influence is vague but it comes from something known as the "Spooky Whine Sample" in 90's Dance and Eurodance music. Anime fans may know it as the "Initial D Eye-catch". You hear it at different points in the song but it's exactly what is sounds like. At the time, I couldn't find it; so I made my own version of it with a lead I found. The song itself is great but that sample or wind up leads similar to it make Dance songs much more distinctive and energetic because of how addictive it is.
What is uploaded here is a Snippet of the Instrumental. Reason being is that I don't want my music used without my permission. I have the Full MP3 with track stems ready to be emailed to you once the purchase is made and received on my end. The full mp3 track is 2 minutes and 36 seconds long, has a bpm of 147.87 and has a bit rate of 224 kbps. The stems are WAV Files as single individual sounds. Once the stems are in your possessions, you can rearrange, mix or do whatever you like to the instrumental.

  • 224kbps, 44100 Hz
  • Music has an ending (Doesn't loop)

I would also like to discuss royalties; with no royalties, the price increases but we would have to negotiate.

A lesson I've learned from games is that music is what truly immerses a person into any experience. I am a fan of SEGA's music and a fan of Nintendo's as well but I like anything that sounds good. My main influences from video games are the Super Smash Bros series, the Mario series, David Wise(the composer for Donkey Kong), Sonic the Hedgehog and a large portion of SEGA's catalogue.

I make a lot of Hip Hop/rap/trap beats but I like making my beats epic, moody or dark soundtracks. I am also open to making Jungle, Future Funk, Orchestral compositions, etc. I don't play any actual instruments though. I myself like to make songs and I've been writing since I was young due to my father being a song writer himself. My real life influences are also anything that sounds good. I listen to artists like Lupe Fiasco and Kendrick Lamar but also listen to Future and City Morgue. I can enjoy pop songs like Aqua's "Candyman" and Toybox's "Sailor Song" and anime OST's like Misia's "Orphans Namida", Do As Infinity's "Fukai Mori" and SiM's "Red".
