My name is Jake Sidwell. I am a TV/film composer. My scoring credits include 3 seasons of the Adult Swim animated show, "Final Space," as well as the Vimeo Staff Pick short film by Justin Robinson, "Grape Soda," and the pilot episode of Olan Roger's Tron-inspired animated short, "The Lion's Blaze."

Though I've only worked in television and film, I've wanted to score game music since I was 12--the day I picked up Final Fantasy VIII. I was mesmerized by Nobuo's work, as so many of us were, and I haven't stopped making music since.

My work ranges from delicate string and piano-centric, to large, full orchestra or electronic--and often hybrids of organic and digital.

I tend to work in a niche of dark, emotional, and melodic, rather than as an all-around composer. So I might not be composing the next great jazz album, but I know and perform my particular style well.
