My name is Nate Holt, and I go by Asterales (as-Trah-lees). My newest album is called "Outside The Box" which alludes to this being my first record created using entirely hardware instrumentation for each track. I'd describe it as left field, downtempo, ambient electronica featuring jittery, broken beats, beefy sub-bass, copious synth pads and sequences, with a little indecipherable vocoder thrown in.
Generally, I produce instrumental leftfield, downtempo, ambient electronica but have access to recording vocalists if lyrical ideas are necessary. The music I produce is suitable for background vibes but can be used to set specific moods (comtemplative, meditative, trancey).
